Gala to support equestrian program

BRIDGEWATER — To celebrate the 10th aniversary of Bridgewater College's equestrian program, the college will host a gala from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center, 102 Burketown Road. The event will feature tours, a picnic, concert, horse show and silent auction.

The 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Bridgewater College Equestrian Program will be held Sept. 18 from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center (102 Burketown Road, Weyers Cave, Va.).

Vintage Books’ charity Vintage Books in Russellville has adopted Equestrian Zone as its 2010 charity of the year. Proceeds from the annual charity book sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 2 will go to Equestrian Zone.
